Solution family

Catch the revenue your systems are quietly leaking.

DuluthPath detects the organizational problems that quietly take revenue off the table — unbilled deliveries, pricing errors, failed orders, contract leakage, customer churn and margin erosion — then explains the root cause and coordinates the appropriate response under your approval controls.

Organizational problem

Revenue leaves the business through the cracks between CRM, ERP, order management, pricing systems and billing — and no single dashboard sees all of them at once. The number on the P&L arrives weeks after the problem was first detectable.

Why existing systems miss it

CRM pipelines report booked revenue. ERP subledgers report invoiced revenue. Neither reports the delta — the deliveries that were never invoiced, the discounts applied without approval, the orders that failed between warehouse and billing, the contract renewals that lapsed because no one owns the handoff. Dashboards built on one system are structurally blind to problems that live in the gap.

Signals DuluthPath analyzes

  • Delivered orders with no invoice created within the configured window.
  • Price list variances between CRM quote and ERP invoice.
  • Approved discounts outside the authority matrix of the sales rep who entered them.
  • Contract renewals within 60 days with no renewal activity in the CRM.
  • Churn-risk account health scores built from ERP-side invoice behavior (not just CRM activity).
  • Margin erosion on a product/region cohort versus the trailing-quarter baseline.

How DuluthPath detects the issue

Signals are read from each connected system via its native, supported API (QuickBooks Online self-serve today; Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and SAP Business One via per-tenant OAuth). Cross-system reconciliation runs continuously. A problem is only promoted to the Decision Queue once evidence from at least two systems agrees that an action is warranted — single-source noise is suppressed.

Root-cause analysis

For each detected problem the Problem Intelligence Orchestrator runs a 14-stage causal analysis that walks the evidence back through dependent system records — invoice → order → quote → account — and ranks the most-likely root cause with a confidence score. The analysis cites every source record so the decision owner can verify independently.

Financial, customer, operational and compliance impact

financial impact

Revenue retained, average invoice value preserved, discount leakage closed.

customer impact

Fewer billing disputes, cleaner statements, lower churn risk from invoice errors.

operational impact

Order-to-cash cycle time compressed; billing exception queue shrinks.

compliance impact

Signed audit trail for every pricing / discount / write-off decision.

Recommended actions

  • Finance-approved release of blocked billing documents.
  • Pricing correction with CFO approval over a configurable materiality threshold.
  • Retention-workflow trigger on accounts with elevated invoice-behavior churn risk.
  • Contract-renewal escalation to the account owner with the full negotiation history pre-loaded.

Approval and execution controls

Every recommended action has a named approver, a materiality threshold, a reversibility rating, and a documented rollback plan. Nothing autonomous fires. Finance / Revenue leadership approve every write-back before it reaches the ERP.

Outcome verification

Every action's expected result is compared to the actual outcome 1, 7 and 30 days after execution. If the expected revenue retention does not materialize, the problem is re-opened with the new evidence and a revised recommendation.

Industry adaptations

  • Manufacturing — SKU-level margin erosion with cost-of-goods inputs from the ERP.
  • Retail / CPG — promotion-leakage detection against the CRM-approved promo calendar.
  • Healthcare — denial-rate alerting on the claims subledger.
  • Financial Services — fee-leakage and net-interest-income variance.
